After a few months and a few wears only the right shoe started shredding the lace. A few months after the grommet started tearing too. I wrote to customer service because this is an obvious design or build defect of the right shoe.

Customer service response was a URL of a shoelace website, "We recommend a visit to www.shoelacesexpress.com – a great website that offers laces of all kinds, colors and lengths. Whether you need a replacement for your classic Wingtips or want to jazz up a plain oxford, you will find many choices there."

I'm really disappointed that these nice and comfortable shoes are going to eat through laces on the right shoe and the grommet will tear. I won't buy another pair or recommend because I know Colehaan doesn't stand behind the quality of their shoes.

Some people report not liking the white part above the heel and I agree with them. But my shoe repair guy fixed it quickly, easily and cheaply. He applied a solvent that removed the white coating and then applied black dye. The tabs now match perfectly and you simply cannot tell the tabs were ever any different from the rest of the shoe. I picked them up two days later and he charged me $15. He did not consider it a challenging piece of work.

Absolutely wonderful fit and comfort. The quality seems fantastic and they are very light.

Considering getting a 2nd pair and stashing them away.

I purchased online to give as a gift and received the product without any shoe box - just a plain white box. When I opened the box, I saw the shoes were dirty with dark scuff marks (I purchased the white colorway) and laces were untied. Appears to have been worn already. Totally unacceptable, especially for a product that costs over $100. Will return. Also makes me hesitant about making other online purchases from DSW.

Pair does not even come close to my older purchases from 2018 - 2019 . Quality has definitely went down hill I don’t know why I keep buying them. Very cheaply made and even look cheap in person . No comfort level at all . A pair of hey dudes has more support and comfort than any of the last 3 pairs
