The Greatest Vacuum Mop Ever..
This vacuum mop can cut through any mess and does so without any chemical solution. Just add water! The combination of the brush and the powerful suction are on par with a professional cleaning company. It digs into my porous tile and pulls everything out. I read so many reviews of this and other similar products and wish I hadn’t waited to buy it. The cordless feature makes it a breeze to use. I have not had any issue with the charge time, it's adequate to get most jobs done and I find it charges quickly. The mop is elegant and I have it set up on the periphery of the kitchen so I use it and simply charge it. I haven’t used the steam function as much because the chemical-free brush and suction are all you need. The unit is very easy to clean and maintain. You will not regret buying this. The manufacturer reminds you to empty the tank after each use and this is a must because it’s so effective at cleaning without any additional solution that the water will stink. This vacuum mop is so wonderful I would buy it again without reservation even at this price point which is on the higher side. Best purchase I’ve made in years

Firstly, Ill start by saying this is an amazing piece of kit and Im so pleased that I got to test the Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme. The difference it has made in our household is incredible C I dont remember the last time our hard floors were so clean! It is an interesting product in the fact it sits somewhere in between a normal hoover and a mop

The Floor One S5 Extreme cordless vacuum arrived in a branded cardboard box and included the main body of the vacuum, the detachable handle, a charging / docking stand, a power cable, x2 additional brush heads, a cleaning brush, an extra dry filter, a bottle of the Tineco solution and booklets of instructions which covers assembly, care and use.

Assembly is super simple. Attach the handle (it clicks into place), plug in the docking station with the charging cable at the back and charge it up. It did come partially charged but I believe it is always better to give it a full charge before using it for the first time. I plugged it in about 10am and when I returned to the kitchen for lunch (about 1pm) it had fully charged.

Cleaning hard floors around the house always was a two-step approach C first hoover up the debris and then get the mop out. However, not only did the S5 Extreme clean the floors exceptionally well it cut the time spent doing it by more than half and was also less labour intensive! A complete win-win!

To begin I filled up the water tank with warm water from the tap and added a cap full of the Tineco solution as suggested. It then very simply clicks into place. The unit itself is well built and feels very high quality with a lovely aesthetically pleasing design. It is also very lightweight, and it is easy to move around. When I first turned it on (keeping it in the automatic mode) and leant the handle back, the vacuum pulls itself forward with self-propulsion making it even easier to use and manoeuvre. The vacuum is also really easy to grip and relatively quiet for a vacuum making it more pleasant to use. The vacuum puts down a thin layer of water and then easily sucks up the excess leaving the floors streak free (the floors dried completely very quickly).

There is an iLoop smart sensor which intelligently adjusts and the 2.5-inch LCD display which changes from red when its dirty to blue when its clean gives you great peace of mind that you have thoroughly cleaned the surface. I do think that this feature (which initially I took as a bit gimmicky) helps guide you to go over areas that you may have thought you covered enough C very clever! The LCD displays also indicates the battery level and the current mode as well as being bright and clear. The vacuum has voice feedback too! It tells you when the vacuum needs charging, cleaning and if the water tank needs emptying / filling. This feature can be turned off if desired, but I found it quite helpful.

I only had to empty and refill the water tank once during a whole clean which I thought was very good! Once I finished cleaning our hard floors the clean-up of the vacuum was very easy. Empty and clear out any debris from the dirty water tank using the brush provided and then comes the clever bit. Fill up the clean water tank with warm water and solution again and the vacuum will use this to clean itself! You place it on its docking station, and it runs diagnostics to determine if cleaning is required. For me this wasnt required on the first use but the second use it ran through its programme whilst keeping you updated on the status.

The battery percentage does go down quite quickly but the device is doing quite a lot and considering the benefits of having it cordless it far outweighs having to charge it after every use. It did however last the entire time that Ive needed it on several occasions, and I quite like that it sits permanently in the docking station whilst not in use as it has a place and will keep on top of the charging.

This is the first vacuum Ive had that comes with an app! I probably wont use it but it is a cool extra if you need to monitor the machine from elsewhere in the house. It shows you the battery level, status, charge time and use time as well as being able to toggle on and off the voice feedback.

The only slight downside is that the cleaning solution is proprietary, and the manual is very clear that only the Tineco solution should be used. Im not sure if this is to make sure you are rebuying their products, or it actually helps maintain the machine but considering the solution is relatively inexpensive and you use a minimal amount each time I personally with be sticking with the original solution.

Priced at ?499 at the time of reviewing the Tineco Floor One S5 Extreme is obviously an investment but it saves so much time and gives such a deep clean on hard floors Im so impressed (it was so very satisfying to empty the dirty water away). I would HIGHLY recommend getting one and have already told my friends and family about it!

This steam vacuum cleaner is truly AMAZING. I have been searching for the best, most pet safe & eco friendly way to clean & sanitize my floors for years. I found this machine, which just happens to be all of those things & is even nice to look at! We have two elderly dogs that use a faux grass pad system, then run back into the house afterwards through their dog door. This steam vacuum cleaner has not only cleaned & sanitized our hardwood & tile floors but also thoroughly cleaned, sanitized & removed all of the dog odors from our area rugs as well. This thing is great! Our rugs look new & the hardwood floors & tile have never been cleaner (which I vacuum & mop daily). The grout is obviously not going to be scrubbed clean with this steam vac, so I'm planning on finding a separate steam cleaner with scrubbing nozzle just for bathroom showers, toilets & tile grout cleaning, that's a whole other story. The voice feature on this steam vac is somewhat annoying, so I only used it for a short time, to learn what the symbols meant before turning that feature off. I'm happy it uses steam so I can avoid spraying the floors w different cleaners to sanitize them, which really just ends up pushing most of the dirt & grime around & coating the floors instead of cleaning it up like this steam vac. The true test is when I ran a damp white paper towel across my previously "mopped" floors before and after using the steam vac, needless to say, the paper towel was stained before... and remained white after!

The maintenence on this steam vac is easy as well. I just run the self clean cycle, then unplug the steam vac, empty the Dirty Water Tank remove plastic trap to that collects dirt, dump the dirty water out, open up the front roller section to remove the roller & roller cover, rinse the cover, clean out any debris in the chamber & leave them out to dry overnight. I also allow the Clean Water Tank to dry out since I'm not planning on using it daily.

This unit works INCREDIBLY well, I'm so glad I did my research & found it!

I never thought I'd be the husband to get my wife a vacuum, but she begged me to find something that would make it easier on her than traditional mopping/vacuuming.

After a bunch of research (and really no competitors besides commercial level steam vacuums, which end up quite a bit more expensive), I settled on this corded Tineco Steam Vacuum Mop. We have plenty of outlets, so we wanted something corded rather than wireless, we don't like stowing away charging stations.

My wife immediately turned off the voice and auto mode and she just watches the steam temperature gauge.

Every time she uses it she declares how much she loves it and she's cleaned houses for Airbnb clients and is generally a very clean person so I would definitely trust her opinion on something like this. It ends up saving a ton of time. We track a lot of dirt into the house because we live in a relatively rural area with lots of dust and dirt and mud in the winter. We also have a dog that sheds like crazy, we still pre-vacuum with a canister vacuum before using the steam mop because of reviews that said it didn't handle pet hair very well.

Overall it's been a great addition to our cleaning regimen and we've done away with traditional mopping finally and the floors feel cleaner than ever!

After reading some of the 1-star reviews I'm still not very concerned. Someone said they couldn't find another brush, but I just google searched and found replacements at Walmart, so I can't imagine they're that hard to find, we run the auto-clean function and take good care of the vacuum and even remove the brush and clean it afterward so I expect it to last a while with proper maintenance. It seems well-built and durable and hasn't shown any signs of breaking yet.

Overall I would highly recommend this product for people that are tired of traditional mopping and who have lots of solid floors. We've both used non-steam electric mop vacuums before and this definitely gives you a more intense clean feeling that we love.
